Paintings

Most of Kathy's subjects are taken from the Michigan countryside or Lake Michigan shoreline. Working with the patterns and textures of the landscape, she exaggerates the colors and creates abstracted and impressionistic interpretations of the landscape. She paints her oils in a wide range of sizes, from 5x7 inches up to 24x36 inches.

She also creates tiny images in oils, alkyds, or acrylics. A variety of subjects...landscapes, barns, abstract images, and waterscapes...These precious little original oil paintings are very affordable and make wonderful gifts. These images come in a variety of frames and are about 3x4 inches when framed.
